Product NAM 045 is an antifoaming agent in powder form for cement, hydrated lime and gypsum-based dry premixed products, as well as for any systems in powder form.

NAM 045 consists of a mixture of silicone oils and triisobutyl-phosphate on a mineral support. It acts as soon as the dry mixture comes into contact with water, thus preventing the formation of foam even under strong mechanical agitation. As the active components of Antifoam P2 are not biodegradable, after their dispersion in water they keep their efficaciousness for a long time.

Thanks to its particular composition, NAM 045 has a wide-ranging use, from cement-based mixtures for self-levelling products, smooth finishes, and mortars for repair works, to hydrated lime-based paints and smooth finishes.Moreover, since it is stable in highly alkaline systems, it is also used with put limebased products in paste form, in which it promotes also a certain plasticizing effect.
